Welcome back to our sixth consecutive year of Kayaking for Cancer!

We planned to finish at the Ottawa Locks by 5:00, and so far we were making good time. Since we had time, the support boat was able to stop at Moonies Bay to collect more donations. Meanwhile the group was chanting "Kayaking for.....CANCER" and shouting out other "sound offs". Kevin and George had some interesting ones.

Micheline and Papa Ron.

A large group of family and friends were on hand to great us as we arrived at the Ottawa Locks. The "A" channel and Electric Sky were also there for interviews.

Jessica Kendrick, a volunteer from The Canadian Cancer Society was on hand to accept our cheque for $32,000.00. This brings our six year total to over $200,000.00. Thank you to everyone who has donated.

If you have not yet donated, here is your chance. You don't have to kayak 202 km. You don't even have to get out of your chair. Just click here.

The kayaks pass the "Ex".

The finished line is crossed.

Rebecca leads a new sound off.
The pictures show what it was like when we finished in Ottawa, but to really feel what it was like you have to hear it. Turn on your speakers and click on the following names to hear "sound offs" led by Cassandra, Kevin and Rebecca. Recordings compliments of Arthur Masters of Electricsky.net.
