Breakfast at Long Island Lock.

<back | next >

Welcome back to our eleventh consecutive year of Kayaking for Cancer!

The alarm goes off and we are up (the ground crew) busy making today's menu. Kayaking for Cancer has been a part of my life for a long time and hopefully for another few years.
We love what we do, we take care of our kayaking family for this week in August. Why do we do the Kayaking for Cancer? We do this for our friends, family and co-workers who have been stricken with the big"C" disease.
We as a "wonderful group" are combining our efforts to breaking this disease. Our struggles during this week are tiny compared to the challenges those with cancer face daily.
Our experiences within this group during this week are life changing. I love all of you kayakers, and so proud of what you do K4C.
