29, 2001 --- OUR LAST DAY!!!
5:26 pm -
Heading down the home stretch into the Ottawa
Locks.
5:31 pm -
Micheline & Ron pulling into the Ottawa Locks.
5:35 pm -
They made it!!! What a great feeling!

Sure enough, at 5:25 pm the kayakers came into
sight, chanting "Kayaking for Cancer"
as they paddled the final metres of the Rideau
Canal. It was an incredible sight...and an emotional
one as well!
They pulled into the Ottawa Locks buoyed on by
cheers of support from the crowd. Everyone was
overwhelmned with excitement, and also relief
with the thought that the journey was now complete!
