Welcome back to our sixth
consecutive year of Kayaking for Cancer!
To get to Davis locks we first have to pass through
Jones Falls Locks. The kayakers portage around the
four locks here, saving over an hour. The support
boat , however, has to go through the locks. So
every year it's a race to get to Davis Locks from
here. With a one hour head start the kayaks have
a good chance to win.
...didn't we do this last year?
But not this
year! The boat caught up with only 200 metres
to go.
