Welcome back to our twelfth consecutive year of Kayaking for Cancer!

The farther we paddle this week, the more aware I am of what a privilege it is to travel with this wonderful group again. Laughter and getting to know each other as we paddle and camp, interspersed with private and shared poignant memories of departed family members and friends, and water lilies left to drift on the current in memory. This week' paddle has brought it all close again...not one of us has not had cancer afflict a loved one.

To my departed brother Ron, my wonderful survivor wife Joselyn, neighbour Marc and colleague Leah...this week is for you.
