About half of cancers can be prevented, and screening for certain cancers can result in early detection, when the disease is most treatable. With your support, the Canadian Cancer Society is getting these life-changing messages to more Canadians. They are also funding research in cancer prevention to understand all of its causes and testing new ways for Canadians to reduce their risk of developing cancer.

In 2014 they launched It’s My Life!, an interactive tool that helps Canadians better understand how lifestyle choices can reduce cancer risk.
