Welcome back to our third consecutive year of Kayaking for Cancer! Thanks for joining our trek via our web site!

There is tonnes of excitement in the air this morning as our team readies to conquer the 202 km of the Rideau Canal again in support of the Canadian Cancer Society.

The bulk of the K4C team met again in Brockville, Ontario, this year, bright and early at 7 am this morning -- the rest will meet up with us in Kingston. Despite the early hour, everybody's raring to go! We've got a really diverse group of paddlers this time ranging from highschool students to retirees -- it's really impressive!

Once we all managed to get somewhat organized ( the laptop got left behind in the scramble -- that's why this update's a bit late), we loaded up and were heading west on the 401 to Kingston by 8 am. As in years past, we're launching in front of the Kingston General Hospital, also home to one of our provincial Cancer Care facilities.
