Kayaking for a Cure!

It’s amazing! In 2026, we achieved our ultimate goal of raising $1 MILLION over 26 years of Kayaking for Cancer!

We’re a group of family and friends, old and new, paddling the 202 kilometres of the Rideau Canal from Kingston to Ottawa every August, in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. We do this to show everyone battling cancer how much we care, and to never forget those who we’ve lost.

We’ve turned the page on another year, raising over $47,000 in donations for the CCS in 2026.

If you’d like to make a donation at any time to support our cause, please go to:

Thank you to all the donors, sponsors and volunteers who make this event possible. We couldn't do it without your support!

Stay Connected!

Over the 8 days of Kayaking for Cancer, we’ll be posting updates and photos to Facebook and Instagram.
The K4C team love to receive messages of encouragement during the trip (sometimes even reading them together as a group around the campfire!), so please comment and share!
